Hi! I'm Taarika John, a Malayali artist, writer and designer. Welcome to my online store!

I’ve been drawing and writing my own stories for as long as I can remember and started working as a professional illustrator in 2015. I’ve always been captivated by the power of stories and images and my artistic practice has always been driven by a desire to create art that resonates and connects with people. 

My work aims to capture the magic in the mundane , the quiet moments of daily life, the rhythm of routines, and the beauty of the everyday.

I believe that everyone should see themselves and their experiences reflected in the world around them and this is the inspiration behind Taarika John Shop - to create art that breathes life into everyday objects. 

All the products on this store are proudly made in India, packaged with care and shipped from Kerala by an extremely small team (my Amma and me.) Every order you place helps me continue making art and is deeply appreciated.
